Personal Assistant to CEO

Location: Whiteley, Fareham

An excellent and high calibre opportunity has arisen for a highly professional and adaptable Personal Assistant to work alongside the CEO based in our busy Whiteley head office.

Working as part of the team at Eight Wealth Management Ltd who are an Appointed Representative and Principal Partner of St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc.

St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. You will be employed by the Practice.

The Role

The ideal candidate will be managing the work generated by the CEO and his clients and offering support as and when required.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

* Full diary management

* Travel arrangements including flight and accommodation bookings, as well as professional examination bookings when required, ensuring all documentation is prepared in advance.

* Complete meeting preparation, collating all post meeting/business documentation and meeting packs

* Ensure compliance monitoring of all regulatory guidelines

* Attend client meetings, take minutes and liase with internal and external departments towards action planning. This may require some evening appointments.

* Liase with CEO chauffeur for ALL meetings and personal arrangements

* Email management in the event of CEO holiday and out of office commitments

*Be a first point of contact for all client queries responding in a reasonable timeframe.

You will be preparing all documentation for the Partner’s meetings, and will need to ensure that client information is recorded accurately. You will be dealing with third parties on a daily basis and you will be managing the pipeline of business through the Practice and will have an initial period of training to learn new processes and skills which would provide you with a solid foundation for a career within a Financial Services Practice.

The Person

This is a fast paced, challenging demanding role that would suit a confident, numerate and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a 'can do’ working style.

Ideally you will have experience working as a Personal Assistant to high level management and be willing to undertake further study and qualifications towards exams.

As an ideal candidate you have exceptional communication skills and are highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. You will have strong written and problem solving skills. You are a self-starter and able to work with little or no supervision. You are reliable with proven office management, administrative or personal assistant experience and good IT skills.

You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.

It would be useful, but not essential, to have worked in a Financial Services or professional service environment or have a financial background.
