Personal Assistant

Associated Dental Products Ltd (Kemdent) based in Purton, Swindon is a well established, leading manufacturer and supplier of dental consumables throughout the world. Due to ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Personal Assistant to assist the Directors.

This role is part-time. Hours are 25 hours per week worked Monday-Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the business diary

  • Co-ordinate and maintain calendars for the Directors as well as, when required, for their respective reports:

    • Arrange meetings and appointments

    • Ensure that commitments and competing demands are efficiently managed

    • Ensure when managing this information that confidentiality is adhered to at all times

    • Build relationships and develop knowledge of the Directors priorities to be able to identify any issues arising.

  • Arrange accommodation and travel for business travel

  • Organisation of internal and external events

  • Liaise with outside HR consultant to advise Directors of updates to HR law

  • Type up and prepare documents, correspondence and reports which will require effective Excel and Word skills

  • Facilitate internal communication

  • Collate materials, research and analyse background information to assist the Directors as required

  • Take minutes, complete and distribute actions from meetings

  • Update the CRM system as appropriate

  • Complete ad-hoc duties when required

Person Specification:


  • At least 3 GCSE’s at grade A*-C including English or equivalent experience


  • A professional and proven Personal Assistant

  • Proven record of working across the Microsoft Office suite and Outlook

  • Some HR administration experience would be advantageous


  • A proactive individual with a high degree of organisational ability and attention to detail.

  • Self-starter, able to work unsupervised and on own initiative with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.

  • High level of ICT skills and applications including MS Word and Excel

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, discretion and experience of liaising with stakeholders and staff.

  • Able to adapt their approach to suit the intended audience.
