Hays social care are currently seeking experienced support workers to join us to support individuals with emotional behaviours difficulties who may come from complex backgrounds. We are working with an amazing client that offer a very welcoming and supportive environment with skilled staff and management. Your job as a Support worker will be to assist and support vulnerable individuals with day-to-day tasks and practical care.
Your new company
You will be supporting Young adults with varying mental health, background, and emotional needs. You will be providing support to the well-established organisation that we support. You will be on a set shift rota, with the expectation to do sleep-ins.
Your new role
As a Support Worker you will be required to provide high quality care and support which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs of the young people. You will be part of a supportive team that work well together and will be quick to build strong relationships with the service users. Our client is offering Full Time, Part Time, and Bank Staff Roles.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced support worker with specific knowledge working with vulnerable children. Having your own transport will be beneficial. You'll also be someone who has a strong desire to make a difference. Qualifications are also desirable but to essential.
What you'll get in return
This role will pay between £8.95 to £9.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. You will also get one to one support from our staff to ensure you are happy in your role and fulfilling your own career goals.
