This role will require you to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered in an effective, efficient manner reflecting the overall philosophy of the service. Main duties will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care in line with company values and work practices. You will also be expected to act as a role model delivering care on a nurse led basis, to patients in varying stages of their surgical pathway.
As a Scrub Nurse within the Theatre, you will provide care and sup[port during the 'perioperative' journey, which includes the following phases: preoperative, anaesthetics, surgical phase and the recovery phase.
The pay rate for this locum Scrub Nurse job is £37,000 per annum and is a permanent contract to work 40 hours per week. The hospital is open 7 days a week and the working pattern will include four 10 hour days per week. Please note that you may be required to work some weekends.
Benefits include 20 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays), a 1% pension contribution and a childcare voucher scheme. You will also have the option of working overtime when you desire and rate of 'time and a half' will be received.

Requirements of the Scrub Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have 12 months post registration experience
- You must have experience as a Scrub Nurse
- Experience of working within cosmetics is desirable
