Perm Anaesthetics Nurse - Cosmetics Company - Central London

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to fill a full time, permanent role in London. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of recovery and anaesthetics practices within cosmetics.

This role will require you to be responsible and accountable for providing high quality clinical assistance to the Anaesthetist during surgical procedures. You will be assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures and providing clinical supervision on a day to day basis to junior nursing staff acting as a mentor or assessor.

Other duties will include preparing the Anaesthetic Room according to the individual needs of the patient and Anaesthetist i.e. drug preparation/administration, IV cannulation, IV fluids and preparation and insertion of invasive monitoring as required.

The pay rate for this locum Anaesthetic Nurse job is £37,000 per annum and is a permanent contract to work 40 hours per week. The hospital is open 7 days a week and the working pattern will include four 10 hour days per week. Please note that you may be required to work some weekends.

Benefits include 20 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays), a 1% pension contribution and a childcare voucher scheme. You will also have the option of working overtime when you desire where a rate of 'time and a half' will be received.

Requirements of the Anaesthetic Nurse role:

- You must be a HPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse
- You must have 12 months post registration experience
- You must have skills in developing and implementing programmes of care
- Previous experience within cosmetics is desirable
