What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Executive to join our innovative online marketing team. This role will be pivotal in driving our customer acquisition efforts through paid media, paid social, and affiliate marketing channels, supported by a specialist agency.

Key responsibilities:

Paid Media Management Work closely with our SEM agency and continuously review ad campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads.

Support in optimising ad copy and keywords to enhance click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.

Monitor performance metrics to maximise return on ad spend (ROAS).

Paid Social Advertising

Create and execute advertising strategies on platforms including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

You will closely collaborate with the brand team to execute campaigns around launch products to drive sell-through and reach.

Implement audience targeting and retargeting strategies to boost engagement.

Affiliate Marketing

Oversee the management of our affiliate marketing program in collaboration with the supporting agency and platform.

Analyse affiliate performance data to optimise commission structures.

Performance Analysis

Track key performance indicators KPIs) across all channels and provide regular performance reports to the wider team.

Conduct A/B testing to refine campaign strategies based on data insights.

Collaborate with the SEM agency to analyse trends and optimise marketing spend.

Budget Management

Support the Performance Marketing Manager in managing advertising budgets effectively to achieve maximum ROI while keeping customer acquisition costs at targeted levels.

Work closely with the agency to ensure alignment on budget allocation and campaign objectives.

Cross functional collaboration.

You will work closely with the finance team to ensure KPIs are met, this will require a great problem solving mentality.

Operate as a key member of the wider marketing function, contributing ideas to the development of the team’s objectives and ambitions.

Requirements

  • A passion for running and the outdoors - we want you to live the SportsShoes brand and way of life to really connect with our customers
  • 5+ years in retail marketing with hands-on specialist channel knowledge for the channels mentioned.
  • A data-first approach to success with excellent attention to detail
  • Experienced in GA4 and reporting
  • Advanced copywriting skills
  • The ability to think commercially and creatively
  • Strong understanding of paid media trends and insights
  • A real passion for insights, data and customer journeys.
