Job Title: Performance Assurance (PAT) Review Leader

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

Location: London

Would you like to work for one of the main regulators of the energy trading arrangements for the wholesale electricity market? Do you have operational and project management experience?This role will plan the workstream, co-ordinate and report on activities, ensure that each group/PAT review is progressing to plan and has sufficient access to resources and expertise, and co-ordinate use of stakeholders via consultations and working groups. As a small project team, there is an opportunity to get involved in all the workstreams, to support where necessary with delivering stakeholder events, reviewing documents, attending workshops, testing analysis. Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the workstream planning, including surveying all PAT owners and proposing an approach to delivering the reviews
  • Co-ordinate the reviews across the PAT owners and other SMEs supporting the reviews
  • Attend project checkpoints and other team meetings
  • Present, and support others in presenting, progress of the workstream and proposals for changes to the PATs
  • Draft and deliver general communications and updates to Panel, Panel committees and internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify 'quick win’ improvements to PAF activities and hand them over to relevant operational team
  • Use knowledge of risk management to produce high quality project deliverables, including reviewing colleagues’ work on the deliverables
  • Transfer knowledge on risk management and the PAF / PATs to operational teams within
  • Plan and prepare communications to internal and external stakeholders via the website, newsletter articles, briefing notes and presentations at events
  • Provide accurate and credible advice to colleagues on the PAF Techniques and risk management approaches
  • Use project management and organisation skills to co-ordinate reviews

Skills and Experience Required:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in project management
  • Highly organised and able to co-ordinate delivery of work packages
  • Knowledge of different risk management approaches and their practical application
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
