We have a fantastic contract opportunity for a People & Payroll Services Co-ordinator to produce contracts of employment for new starters and administer changes of employee terms and conditions, as well as various other administration duties within our People & Payroll Services team, ensuring that we deliver a first class service to the business. This position is based in Huntingdon and is for 9 months.

Working in a fast paced environment you will be responsible for updating employee personal details on our HR System; this will include processing and inputting starters and movers. In addition, you will also generate accurate employment contracts, secondment and extension letters as well as administering all pre-employment checks for new starters ensuring that these are completed prior to the new employees first day.

In this customer focussed role you will proactively respond to all customer queries within the teams agreed service levels in a professional manner, this will include dealing with queries both over the phone and via email. You will also be responsible for managing various other administration tasks, these will include managing annual leave and overtime through our online system, inputting expenses as well as auditing all transactions on our internal system and various other tasks.


You will have previous administration and data entry experience, ideally this will have been from a similar role from within an HR environment, but full training will be given. You will also have strong IT skills including experience using MS Office.

You will be used to working in a busy and fast moving working environment where you have had to juggle a changing workload and prioritise effectively. Able to work collaboratively, you will be a self-starter, who has excellent attention to detail and able to adapt to change.

You will be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
