People IS Analyst HRIS
Elite HR are delighted to be working with a well-respected national FMCG Manufacturer as they recruit a People IS Analyst to lead a project for a period of 12 months. The Company is located on the outskirts of Portsmouth.
The role will focus on assigned People IS projects to configure and roll out workflow and ongoing maintenance and support of the Client's Access HR System. This role will serve as the primary point of contact with the business for reporting needs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing various reports to manage, improve and support the business.
Act as a functional analyst and serve as lead for assigned People system projects and initiatives. Some key system initiatives in the pipeline include:
- Enablement & optimization of automated processes including performance management, timesheets, payroll interface and payslips, recruitment interface, onboarding, self-employed workflow, H&S modules, reward and KPI reporting.
- Expand and promote and train the use of Manager and Employee Self-Service across the business.
- Global Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR) implementation and compliance.
Perform analysis of existing People systems to recommend and configure process improvements and system enhancements to optimize the People systems value to the business. Ensure our People processes are easy to use, easy to scale, and a source of value and satisfaction for all stakeholders.
Serve as Access Reporting subject matter expert and provide guidance to People stakeholders.
Develop Access HR reporting solutions including dashboards and analytics
Provide functional and technical support, identify and troubleshoot system problems. Ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and process improvement opportunities
Develop, implement and maintain, user procedures, guidelines and business processes documentation.
Train People and business users, including developing training materials, user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
Ensure data integrity including quality, accuracy, security, and usability of employee data and related interfaces by implementing adequate processes, controls and backup systems.
Participate in reviewing, planning, testing and implementing system upgrades or patches.
Experience and skills required:
To be brilliant in this role, the People IS Analyst will work collaboratively with People Dept/ Payroll colleagues, internal partners and external vendors to analyse and develop improved processes that optimize service levels in daily People operations and inform sound business decisions across the business.
Strong working knowledge of a main HR systems used in the UK (ideally Access HR), including configuration, and reporting.
Relevant experience in a fast paced HRIS environment in functional / technical partnering role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective organization and project management skills and orientation to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to a continually changing and fast paced business environment.
A self-starter with the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communications and presentation skills, to be able to inform and persuade both orally and in writing.
Ability to take initiative and follow-through on assignments and accomplish goals.
Collaborative and able to work with all levels of employees and cross functional teams.
Must be capable of maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising discretion with sensitive data.
Strong knowledge of HR processes.
