Solutions Recruitment are happy to be recruiting for a Pensions Officer to work on a temporary basis in South Shields; this is due to an increase in workload. We are looking for a team player who will be involved in the administration tasks relating to the company's pension fund.

The key tasks of the role will be:

Calculating scheme members pensions and processing for payment.

Maintaining records of pensionable service and contributions and administering transfer values to and from various pension providers.

Dealing with enquires from scheme members, employers and other pension providers both verbally and written.

Administration tasks including scanning, filing and keeping in-house computer system up to date and accurate.

The successful candidate will be able to use their initiative, be flexible and a team player.

This is a temporary post until the end of July 2018.
