Who we are looking for
Our distinctive service includes wealth management, stock broking and financial planning advice provided by our own dedicated team of experts and we are now looking for an experienced Pension Transfer Specialist to join us.
Due to a significant increase in retirement related cases, we are looking to develop our proposition and add further expertise. This role will provide quality pension transfer advice to our advisers who have clients with defined benefit or defined contribution arrangements.
You will be responsible for:
Collating information regarding the client and their existing defined benefit and defined contribution pension scheme(s)
Preparing pension analysis
Preparing client reports with transfer recommendations
Ensuring advice is technically correct, meets company and FCA expectations and takes account of all factors
Providing support and advice to advisers
Reviewing and enhancing processes to ensure they remain efficient and comply with all regulation
Maintaining personal knowledge levels as well as disseminating relevant information to the adviser population
You will be supported by, and supervise the work of, a small team who will complete the routine administration and liaison with third parties.
We expect you will have had experience working in a similar advisory environment making use of your qualification (G60/AF3/AF7) in a transfer role. Importantly, this is a key appointment within the team and there is scope for the role to grow as the business develops.
