ARC Education are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic PE teacher to join our team. This is a supply post which offers genuine flexibility whilst also providing the opportunity to teach your specialist subject from Key Stages 3 to 5 in some of Leicestershire's top secondary schools.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified PE teacher (holding either QTS or other UK equivalent) who may be looking for a change of pace or perhaps some part-time/flexible work for the Spring Term and beyond. You will be working a wide variety of schools throughout Leicestershire, so the ability to adapt to new environments and manage behaviour effectively whilst also building strong relationships with students is a must - a driving licence would be preferable but is by no means essential.
ARC Education are an independent education agency that focusses on developing strong relationships with both of our clients and candidates. We are able to achieve this with our open, honest, and friendly approach to recruitment and (unlike other agencies) we will take the time to get to know you and understand your motivations and ambitions to ensure that the roles we provide are the right roles for you. Our dedicated team of consultants is available 24 hours a day, so we're here when you need us.
Successful applicants must possess the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (or other UK equivalent)
- Right to work in the UK
- A sense of humour and perspective
- A passion for working with young people
- Specialism in PE or Sports Science
In exchange for your continued commitment and hard work, we can offer:
- Area leading rates of pay for both day to day and long term supply
- A dedicated consultant that takes the time to understand you and your requirements
- Regular part time or flexible work in some truly excellent schools
- Termly incentives (cash, gifts, vouchers, etc.)
If you are a qualified PE teacher currently looking for work, or perhaps you're working with a supply agency but don't feel valued, then we would love to hear from you. For more information, please contact Leigh Edwards.
Please note that ARC Education is committed to the safeguarding and well being of young people, and as such we undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education`. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
