Do you enjoy working with the public, delivering leading customer service? Do you have a full UK driving licence Cat D? Our client in Catford are recruiting for professional Bus and Coach drivers. Job Purpose: We are looking for sociable, enthusiastic & reliable drivers who enjoy meeting people, working on their own initiative and will enjoy being part of a friendly and dedicated team. As a PCV Driver you will be responsible for operating the company’s network of local and intercity bus services, providing essential transport for our local communities within South East London and beyond. 38 hours+ per week guaranteed. Duties & responsibilities: Dealing with customers and making sure they enjoy a safe, pleasant and comfortable journey. Ensuring the vehicle is driven safely at all times and to the high company standards attained during the paid training period. Issuing tickets and collecting fares. Training & qualifications: Full, paid training will be provided, including: Vehicle and route familiarisation. Ticket ticket training. Introduction to company/depot systems, procedures and policies. Periodic work related training. Other information The Company offers an attractive remuneration package, including smart uniform, free local bus travel for employees and their spouses/partners and great pension benefits. Please note if you are under 5ft 4" (163cm) or over 6 ft (183cm) in height, then you may require an on vehicle assessment. The maximum weight is 18 stone (114kg) for health and safety reasons.
