PCB Operator

Our client are looking for a temporary PCB Operator, this could be for several weeks due to work load, or turn into permanent.

You will be required to assemble printed circuit boards, SMT and conventional through hole components. PCB's are conventional or a mixture of surface mount and conventional through hole components. All the Production team are multi-skilled and carry out inspection and functional testing of PCB's as required. In addition to PCB assembly, our client also build industrial and laboratory instrumentation requiring crimping and electro-mechanical skills, light mechanical assembly and other related tasks as required.

Previous experience populating printed circuit boards and working in a similar environment would be an advantage.

A basic education is required along with a basic understanding and recognition of electronic components, good soldering skills, working to written instructions and an ability of follow drawings. Qualifications or training in the electronics industry including inspection and test would be desirable.

A strong work ethic, responsible and mature outlook, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, accurate, consistent, a good team player and able to work to deadlines are all essential qualities our client are looking for.

Hours of work are 37.5 hours. Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5pm with half hour for lunch and Friday 8.30am-2pm with no lunch.
