Reporting to the Production Manager, the position involves the assembly, test and packing of industrial LED controllers and lighting products, plus additional supporting tasks as required. Most products are small and light in weight. Very rarely heavy lifting is required.
Conventional PCB assembly (plus SMT assembly for the right candidate)
Operating PC-driven test systems
Final quality inspection and packing
Accurate recording of data
Key Skills Required:
Good hand soldering skills
Good use of hand assembly tools
Ability to follow assembly drawings and procedures
Flexible work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail, with a desire to maintain and improve quality standards
Basic PC literacy (training will be given)
Previous experience in a similar role together with a good understanding of best working practices in the electro-mechanical assembly environment
SMA hand placement/rework experience is not essential but would be very advantageous.
