Payroller and Expenses Officer

Your new role
Assist in the effective and professional running of the Payroll Office.
Cover the payroll function for the other Payroll Officers when necessary.
Assist in the training and general updating of payroll procedures.
Maintain payroll security and confidentiality at all times.
Apply all Company rules for employees as per the Company Handbook and .any additional instructions from Directors.
Maintain back-up procedures in line with Company requirements.
Ensure computers are maintained and any faults reported to IT.
Maintain up-to-date accurate payroll data and retain as per legal and Company requirements.
Control the holiday and absence records in line with current systems and produce reports when required.
Check that starters and leavers, including final payments, are processed accurately.
Deal with any pay queries in an efficient and courteous manner.
Make any recommendations to the Payroll Manager in respect of improving the overall efficiency of the
Check mileage expense claims with salescall/attendance record
Check approved expense claims with support documentation
Check van drivers usage with attendance records and site postcodes
Update private mileage report
Update expenses database
Update expenses non-compliance database
Generate expenses payment report for T%F authorisation
Prepare expenses and benefits monthly report and distribution
