A leading, regional accountancy practice, with an excellent reputation, undergoing sustained positive growth and expansion is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator / Payroll Team Leader to join the team, based in the Falmouth area.
Based in the Falmouth area, this highly reputable accountancy practice acts for a wide spectrum of clients across small to significant sized OMB corporate, throughout Cornwall and further afield and you will have exposure to these varied clients with wide ranging employee sizes, managing the delivery of a quality payroll service. Due to growth the partners are looking to bolster the payroll team, with an experience payroll professional, who can oversee 2 - 3 more junior administrators, managing the delivery of around 250 payroll clients.
Joining as Senior Payroll Administrator / Payroll Team Leader, based in the firms offices in Falmouth you will be responsible for managing the the delivery of payroll services (weekly / monthly ) to around 250 clients, dealing with queries and advising clients on technical issues and assist with new client payroll implementations and other projects as you develop within the firm and role. You will oversee and help manage a team of 2 - 3 more junior administrators alongside this and support them, in their development within the firm.
You will carve a pivotal role within the firms payroll department and progress in your career, with increasing responsibility. The opportunity and firm offers the right candidate a genuine chance to progress and develop within their payroll career.
You will have a career background in payroll, within an accountancy practice environment, or bureau environment, operating either at Senior Payroll Administrator level, with demonstrable supervisory and people management skills, or you will be an established Payroll Supervisor, or Payroll Manager / Team Leader already. You will be looking to further your career in this field, developing within a leading firm of chartered accountants, where you will have the backing and support to progress and develop within your payroll career.
£23,000 - £27,000 dependent on the background, experience and level of the right individual, plus benefits, negotiable.
