whitehillpelham is sourcing an experienced, positive and dynamic Payroll Specialist to join a professional and vibrant firm of Chartered Accountants. The firm offers an exceptional payroll bureau service to a varied, large and interesting portfolio of clients. The right person will join a supportive, efficient and pro-active team to process computerised payroll systems as well as a range of office duties to support other team members. This is a 12 month FTC covering maternity leave looking to start as soon as possible.
You will need:
Accurate, in-depth and complete knowledge of the payroll life cycle - from end of year reconciliations to inputting hours
A high-standard of experience and knowledge of manual calculations, knowledge of tax implications and current legislation with regards to the payroll process
To be able to appropriately bill clients - understanding the implications of timeframes and working to deadlines
To be able to review bureau processing requirements daily
To appropriately and professionally answer the phone, take messages and deal with client enquires
Confidence to develop client relationships and ensure the expectations are met/exceed at all times
Be willing to help out with other more general duties as appropriate
