Payroll Specialist

A retail organisation based in Hertfordshire is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the fast-paced Payroll team, supporting the Payroll Manager, on a 6 month Fixed-Term Contract.

Key responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Reconciliation of Payroll Control Accounts
  • Support the administration of pay reviews and benefits administration
  • Completion and Submission of P60s and P11ds
  • Assisting with System Upgrades and Process Improvements
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement and development projects in order to simplify, optimise, administrate and implement processes, practices and policies
  • Be the first point of contact for Payroll Queries

The successful Payroll Specialist will:

  • have extensive experience running end to end Payroll
  • have exposure to complex payroll, i.e commission structures / flexi-hours
  • have up to date working statutory knowledge
  • be immediately available
