Our client is a not-for-profit organisation who are seeking an experience Payroll Officer to join their busy team and be part of their continued expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced Payroll team.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Processing payroll to deadlines
- Producing audit data and reports
- Maintain and review filing systems
- Calculate and input pay related data
- Liaising with HMRC on payroll matters
- Processing holidays and updating pension information
You will have experience in processing payroll on a computerised payroll system in line with HMRC legislation and have experience of statutory payments. Excellent IT skills are essential, as well as the ability to manually calculate tax and NI. A willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of a busy office and work collaboratively as part of a team is also very important.
What’s on Offer:
The client is offering a salary of £22-24k dependent on level of experience, as well as a competitive benefits package including 25 days holidays + stats, pension contribution and a staff benefits scheme. Standard working hours are 9am-5pm, however these is some degree of flexibility.
