Our client is seeking a payroll officer to process weekly and monthy payroll.

Client Details

The client is based in South end, Essex. The client is a well established organisation employing thousands of employees every year.


The main duties for the Payroll Officer in South end include:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll
  • Payroll reconciliations

  • Working out tax and national insurance deductions

  • Setting up new members of staff Calculating overtime

  • Issuing tax forms (P45s for example)

  • Managing maternity and sickness pay adaptations


The successful candidate must:

  • Have experience processing weekly and monthly payroll
  • Be able to commit to a one year fixed term contract
  • Have experience working in a wider finance team
  • Have experience liaising with customers and dealing with payroll queries
  • Be able to travel to South end on a daily basis
  • Be available to start immediately or on one weeks notice
  • Be reliable
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a good attitude to work
