*Assist the Payroll & Pensions Manager in day to day duties towards the production of the monthly and weekly payrolls and any ad hoc duties as and when required.
*Collate and check timesheets/expense forms, bank details etc and input them onto the payroll system (SelectPay), checking payroll output reports and raising necessary documentation.
*Ensure that any discrepancies on timesheets/expense forms are raised with the authorising manager
*Maintain and update all filing systems as required.
*Respond to general questions and queries from staff and managers as required.
*Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data input to SelectPay.
*Provide management information reports as required by the Payroll & Pensions Manager.
*Proven Payroll Experience
*Thorough working knowledge or PAYE/NI and SSP/SMP
*Must have Microsoft Office and payroll database experience
