Payroll Officer job paying between £27,000 - £30,000 based in central London.

Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working in a team of 4 staff. The successful post holder will be processing two monthly payrolls for approximately 8,000 staff. They will have frequent contact with staff at all levels, answering payroll queries and issues as well providing advice on different benefits schemes available i.e pensions, cycle to work and child vouchers.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate needs to demonstrate previous experience of working within a payroll team and proven track record of pay-rolling over 1500 staff. Experience of using North gate payroll is highly desirable with excellent Excel skills. The candidate needs to demonstrate knowledge of Pension Schemes and Benefits Packages alongside current payroll legislation and HMRC legislation. The post holder also needs to be able to communicate clearly and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team and on their own initiatives as well as being able to work to tight deadlines with the monthly and weekly payroll runs.
