My client is a prestigious arts charity based in Central London. They are currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, you will be responsible for ensuring the running of the monthly, weekly and year end PAYE payroll routines. This will involve implementing and maintain payroll routines in compliance with relevant statutory provisions. You will be responsible for recording and maintaining payroll - related employee information for review and approval and be responsible for completing regular weekly and monthly payroll routines on time. This will include preparing payroll reconciliations and preparing BACS transmissions for review. Furthermore, you will be dealing with manual payments and special requests in accordance with instructions and liaising with departments to ensure timesheet data is received in an agreed format and timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed it is essential to have extensive experience managing a payroll function on a sole charge basis. It is essential to have experience of using Earnie payroll. You will also have experience to conduct manual calculations and an excellent understanding of tax regulations.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of £30,000 - 32,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package working for a prestigious charity based in Central London.
