Payroll Manager - Luton - Up to £80,000p.a.

This established company have experienced considerable growth despite the recent challenges and they now require a commercially astute, experienced Payroll Manager to be part of this journey.

You will be joining a driven Finance Team that is headed up by a truly engaging, supportive and dynamic CFO. This role will offer autonomy and you will be driving a high-volume payroll function, mentoring the team and making continuous improvements to processes and procedures.

As with most positions of this level, you will need to be 'hands-on’ when needed and to enable you to gain an understanding of current processes before identifying and driving change.

You will be fully versed in IR35 and ideally in VAT, have experience running multiple payrolls across PAYE, self-employed, LTD company and Umbrella and although not essential, it would be beneficial to have had exposure to self-billing.

A systems implementation and upgrade project is also part of the remit of this role.

Strong payroll systems experience is essential, along with good excel skills.

'Fast-paced environment’ can sound cliché, however this term is very apt for this opportunity and if you can work well under pressure and time constraints, can manage problems effectively, with a high level of customer service, then this could be an ideal match.
