Payroll Manager

I am currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join a successful business in Ellesmere Port. Playing a key role in a small team you will be responsible for a number of end to end payroll processes. Duties will include:

* Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
* Deal with compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements
* Prepare relevant weekly, monthly and year-end reports
* Monitor the accurate processing of staff, transfers and terminations
* Prepare and review payroll accounts
* Review and improve payroll policies and procedures
* Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
* Interpret and apply new legislation impacting payroll
* Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production
* Deal with all Real Time Information (RTI) issues and reporting
* Submit CIS returns online for clients
* Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs to resolve issues

Qualifications & Experience:

* Experienced Sage Payroll user
* Systems-savvy
* Good knowledge of pensions
* Comfortable with Excel
* Experience in medium to large payrolls
