Our client are a leading professional services business in Edinburgh who are recruiting for a Payroll Manager. With over 9000 employee members, our client is looking for a "hands on" manager with significant experience across payroll management with proven experience on data transfer, systems change and payroll management across payroll operations. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for management of a team of 10 across telephony and processing function.
Your new role
Our client has over 600 sites with employee payments and often complex calculations will be undertaken as part of the companies benefit scheme. This role would be suited to an experienced payroll manager or payroll project specialist with significant experience in a fast paced payroll environment. This role is a unique and challenging position where the payroll manager will have the opportunity to lead by best practice across a variety of areas including employee benefits, SSP/SMP and legislative changes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a extensive experience in implementing process improvements and played a key role in delivering excellent payroll processing services. You will be experienced in embedding new procedures and an evolving shared services team with proven ability to share expertise and knowledge across the team. Our client is also moving to a new financial system and therefore this role will be pivotal in developing and testing this process.
