This well established firm on chartered accountants are seeking a Payroll Manager to join their busy team based in Burnley. The firm has 3 partners and around 30 staff, and provide general accountancy services alongside taxation and business development services to a variety of different clients.
Your new role
As the Payroll Manager, you will process monthly, quarterly and annual payrolls for a variety of different clients. General duties include reporting to HMRC, setting up and testing new payroll clients and a variety of client advisory services. You will be dealing with around 300 clients, who have up to 160 employees.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking for an individual who possess previous experience working within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau, working with multiple payrolls. You will also have up to date knowledge regarding recent auto-enrolment legislation and experience on Super Pay would be beneficial however not essential. Ideally, you will live locally to this Burnley based job.
What you'll get in return
In return, the firm are offering a competitive salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 dependent upon experience, and an extensive benefit package which includes free nearby parking, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, healthcare insurance and sociable working hours of between 9am and 5pm with the option of flexi-time. You will also be joining a supportive and sociable team.
