Payroll Manager

My client is based in central Brighton and they are currently looking for a Payroll Manager.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be manage the payroll function with the support of the Payroll Assistant.

This is a great opportunity for someone to go in and put their mark on the role some of which will include review of systems and processes and introducing "new ways" of working.

The role includes management of the payroll systems and processes, monthly journals, reconciliations and controls, and relationship management with centres and Human Resources.

Payroll qualifications and training
Using a range of finance/payroll systems
Staff supervision/management
Ability to apply payroll rules and regulations.
Exposure to International payroll providers
Ability to communicate effectively and convey technical information to non-finance audiences.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Relationship management and customer service skills.
Strong Excel skills.
