Payroll & HR Assistant temp working for a retail company based in Manchester city centre, paying £12.82ph.
Your new company
Your will be working for a large retail company within Manchester city centre. This business are looking for a HR and payroll assistant to join their team. You will be a part of the human resources team, looking after all internal services to colleagues and managers and reporting to the compensation and benefits manager.
Your new role
Your role will consist of processing monthly and weekly payrolls in a timely and accurate manner, including processing statutory payments. You will be responsible for ensuring legislation requirements are met throughout the entire employment team and maintaining employee records (approx. 900). You will be completing the transactional activities including letters, offers, contracts and variations; responding to any HR and Payroll queries from all colleagues. This role will start on a temporary basis with the view to go permanent following probation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need knowledge end-to-end payroll process with some experience in HR being advantageous. You will have a good working knowledge of payroll legislation including statutory payments and salary sacrifice. You will have a constant focus to ensure performance is maintained and all deadlines agreed are met with high quality and quantity of work. You will have excellent communication skills, great organisational skill and be available to start work on either short notice or be immediately available.
