Payroll & Finance Officer, Kenley- Up to 30 Hours per week, Hours to suit. Preferably Mon-Fri
Immediate start for an experienced Payroll & Finance Officer within the Head Office of a company based in Kenley. You must have solid experience in dealing with payroll queries, calculations, checking, resolving problems, processing forms, timesheets and information as well as running the process from start to finish for a payroll of around 750 staff. Manual calculations, payroll legislation knowledge and excellent communication skills are required.
Day to day responsibility for monthly payroll within the organisation
Process information for starters and leavers
Entering monthly information for overtime ,sickness
Respond to and resolve payroll queries
Ensure payroll file is complete and correct before sending for processing
Ensure payroll is appropriately authorised
Manual calculations for Salary, SSP, SMP etc where necessary
Liaison with HMRC and other 3rd parties
Assistance with general finance duties within department as necessary to include some cash book work
Assistance with pensions administration
Other duties as required by management
Experience of dealing with payroll within a large organisation
Experience of using Payrite (Preferable) or similar system
Knowledge of manual calculations and payroll legislation
Good communication skills
