Permanent Payroll Executive required in Glasgow City Centre

Are you available for work with immediate effect? Are you experienced with Sage 50, Excel and END TO END payroll?

Due to increased work loads, my client is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team with immediate effect. If you are experienced working with Sage 50 and are confident with your Payroll skills then please read the job requirements below.

Working hours - 9-5.30pm with flexible working hours being introduced

Monday - Friday

Salary - £22,000 plus annual bonus

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Review and process clients payroll records (current employees, new employees,terminations, leave of absence, wage changes, transfers etc)
  • Responsible for running reports, analysing resulting data and determining necessary corrective action
  • Efficiently processing payroll for 1000+ employees - weekly & monthly payroll
  • Meet or exceed all established deadlines for payroll processing
  • End to End payroll processing
  • Adhere to quality controls throughout the payroll process and defined by the Organisation and Client
  • Maintain payroll system and documentation with up to date information
  • Dealing with client queries so excellent telephone manner required
  • Maintain the integrity of client and employee data
  • Maintain knowledge of current statutory legislation's
  • Responsible for running reports, analysing resulting data and determining necessary corrective action
  • Effectively applies client payroll policies and procedures

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Skillful use of SAGE 50 and Excel
  • V-look up
  • Previous payroll experience and knowledge is essential for this position
  • End to End payroll knowledge essential
  • Ability to close tasks and take ownership of delivery team objections
  • Excellent numerical skills and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong determination to provide exceptional customer experience
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexibility, team player and personal and professional integrity
