Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a well-established company based in Worksop. My client is currently looking to expand their payroll team with a Payroll Clerk.

Your new role
As a Payroll Clerk you will be reporting directly to the Payroll Manager and key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation, reconciliation and weekly submission of payroll data
  • Full process - start to finish
  • Monthly payroll
  • Accurate recording of sick pay
  • Maintain and record holiday records
  • Answering payroll queries
  • SMP and SPP
  • Data entry

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position you need a A-C GCSE in Maths and English coupled preferably needing experience within a similar position in Payroll and ideally within a high volume environment.

What you'll get in return
You will get a competitive salary of £17,000 - £19,000, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm with free on-site parking and auto enrolment pension scheme.
