The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with strong administration skills to join a dynamic and forward thinking company. The company will offer you excellent training and ongoing support within a modern working environment. This vacancy is 3 to 4 months and could lead to a permeant position. As a Payroll Clerk you will be responsible for managing your own workload and will be required to meet weekly deadlines in processing payroll.


·Working to make sure all employees are accurately paid following payroll procedures

·Reviewing payroll reports and issuing the relevant data to departments as required

·Managing statutory sick pay (SSP)

·Processing all personal changes

·Putting together worked hours' report & maintaining employee data on HR system

·Update and maintain employee data on the system

·Provide management and statistical information as required

·Setting up new employees on to the Payroll Systems

·Administration of employee benefits scheme

·Maintaining the Payroll filing


·Payroll clerk experience or in a similar role

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Excellent Excel Skills

·Good team player with positive "can do" attitude

·Quick learner and have the ability to work under pressure to meet Payroll deadlines

·Problem solving skills

The hours are:

09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
