OVERVIEW

We are working with a client who after some restructure is looking for an experienced payroll clerk who can take over the payroll.

You will have sole responsibility of this medium sized but busy payroll reporting into the Accounts Manager.

This is a full time Monday - Friday position but this company can be flexible to school hours or 4 days a week for the right candidate

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for processing the payroll for 94 staff members and some HR admin duties will also be included.

  • Processing end to end payroll
  • Deducting tax and national insurance payments
  • Processing holiday, sickness and maternity pay
  • Calculating overtime
  • Issuing P45s
  • Setting up new starters ensuring all the information is correct and present

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of end to end payroll
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 would be desirable
  • Computer Literate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Can work under pressure
