As a Payroll Clerk in Bristol, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining payroll information for this growing enterprise. You enjoy managing a detailed workflow and able to keep confidential information - confidential. Your team part of the backbone of the business, ensuring everyone’s employee records are up to date, paid on time and accurately.

You will report to the Payroll Manager and you’ll be accountable for maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data.

As a Payroll Clerk

  • Dealing with P45/P46
  • Weekly payroll for 6 clients on a weekly payroll (tight deadlines)
  • Payroll Reports/pay method/ pay summary/gross to net/final margin
  • Holiday Pay calculation & Deductions
  • SMP/SSP manual calculations
  • Reconciliation bank statement and PAYE & NI

Skills you’ll need to succeed

  • You’ll have excellent payroll experience
  • You’ll be solutions focused and have good customer skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience of working to strict deadlines and prioritise workflow
