Working within the Payroll Team, the Payroll Clerk will report to the Payroll Deputy Team Leader.
The role involves working within a team of 9, and will include the following: -
One-off payments, season ticket and bicycle loans
Checking payroll changes
Reporting and reconciliations
Payroll reconciliations / Data cleansing
Third party payments
Assisting with correspondence and customer service
Ad-Hoc tasks as and when required
Requirements and skills
Demonstrated payroll processing experience
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
Ability to work with an exceptionally high degree of accuracy and to tight timescales
Awareness or experience of working in a Shared Service Centre environment
Understanding of payroll legislation and processes
Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
Experience of using iTrent and Oracle R12 systems would be desirable
