An Accountancy practice based in Rayleigh, Essex are searching for a Payroll Clerk/Bookkeeper to join their growing team, this particular business is flourishing with an abundance of new clients, giving good opportunities to progress within the comanpany as they grow.

  • The role will be to process clients payroll promptly, and with high degree of accuracy.
  • You will be processing both weekly and monthly payroll, for varying size business' from sole traders to Ltd companies.
  • You will be dealing with SSP, SMP, SPP, P11D & P45's.
  • Dealing with starters and leavers both end of month and mid month, calculating pay rates, overtime, bonus, holiday for clients, online filing of HMRC forms & registration and closure of PAYE / CIS schemes.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have a solid all round knowledge of payroll, ideally a background in practice.
  • You will be ICB / AAT either fully or pat qualified & be very IT literate with complete knowledge of SAGE Payroll.
