Our client a Firm of Accountants are looking for 2 experienced Payroll & Bookkeeping Clerks to spend 40% of their time on payroll, 40% on VAT and 20% supporting accounts staff in the preparation of book keeping records for accounts preparation.
Assist in client payrolls using SAGE payroll system
Processing auto enrolment
Become fully conversant with policies regarding all aspects of pay.
Answering client and Revenue payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner
Meeting monthly deadline in a timely manner.
Ensure that payroll enquiries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
Comply with Inland Revenue legislation at all times.
Have a good clear understanding of the monthly payroll processing cycle.
Book keeping and VAT using Sage accounts.
2 years plus payroll experience.
Good knowledge of Sage payroll and auto enrolment.
Good understanding of Sage accounts, book keeping and VAT.
Good communication skills
Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Good keyboard skills for accurate data input.
Attention to detail.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Analytical and figure oriented.
Able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
