Hays are working exclusively with a global manufacturing organisation based in South Cambridgeshire/North Hertfordshire who are looking for a Payroll Advisor to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Your new role
To support the Payroll Manager with the effective provision of payroll and pay related functions for approximately 600 paid employees across 2 UK sites. Your main duty will be the delivery of payroll support and administration, providing a consistent and accurate payroll service to all UK employees, including year-end payroll procedures, auto enrolment administration etc. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate submission of all pay related documentation and reporting for the client base.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be able to work to tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail is maintained at all times.
You must have a relevant level of experience within a multiple site payroll function and a recognised payroll qualification would be an advantage. You will have up to date knowledge of payroll practices and be able to provide suitable solutions bases on information available. You will have strong systems/IT skills e.g. Payroll and HR databases, Microsoft Office, in particular Excel including pivot tables
