The team consists of 2 Payroll Administrators and their Payroll Manager. They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced payroll administrator to join them. For this role you ideally need to have access to a car or live local to Ashford, my client can offer parking.
Please note my client is looking for someone who is immediately available or on a short notice period. At the interview you will be required to complete some basic payroll tests. This will include; Numeracy, Accuracy, Excel and Payroll Legislation.
The main role for this position is assist the team in the processing and administration of over 2000+ calendar monthly and weekly paid staff across the businesses in UK & Ireland.
For this position you;
- Must have experience processing start to finish payroll
- Have experience working to deadlines inline with company procedures
- Have experience with payroll and government legislation (SSP,SMP,SAP,SPP)
- Have experience processing manual payments
Roles and Responsibilities Include but not limited to
*Process payrolls from start to finish ensuring they are completed in accordance with the departments schedule.
*Administer all statutory payments according to government legislation, i.e. SSP, SMP, SAP and SPP.
*Process joiners, leavers, and all amendments to payroll in a timely manner.
*Provide advice to employees and managers in relation to pay, taxation and national insurance.
*Dealing with payroll deductions such as pensions, union, court orders, CSA.
*Create, reconcile and submit RTI files to HMRC.
*Reconciling payroll reports and monthly journals..
*Dealing with external payments to bodies such as pensions, union, court orders, CSA etc.
*Support with Year End processes and procedures.
