Job Description

This position is based within the Aberdeenshire Council headquarters at Woodhill House in Aberdeen.


As a Payroll Administrator, you will have previous payroll experience and have higher grade or equivalent, in English and Mathematics. As well as having experience of payroll software, Microsoft Excel and Word you also have a customer focused approach and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.


You will be working in a very busy section with monthly payrolls being processed to tight deadlines. This requires you to be a flexible team player processing high volumes with accuracy. This section is responsible for the production of salaries payments and completion of associated payroll administration, including dealing with pay enquiries from employees and managers.

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer.

Fixed Term for a period not exceeding 31/03/2020.
