Payroll Administrator

We are recruiting on behalf of an expanding payroll bureau with clients all over the UK, who are looking for qualified payroll administrators to join their friendly team who pride themselves on Customer Service.

Duties:

· Process client payrolls

· Ensure correct Tax/NI rates and relevant certificates are in place for each employee

· Complete and submit all PAYE & NIC

· Calculation of employee and employer pension contributions. Maintain detailed records and deal with any administration required by the pension provider

· Process automatic transfer of Salaries, PAYE, Pensions by BACS

· Maintain employee records in payroll files and on Excel

· Deal with client queries

· Deal with all HM Revenue & Customs enquiries

· Production, reconciliation and submission of end of year forms, meeting the Revenue deadlines

· Keep up to date with legislation changes

Skills:

· Experience of working in a Payroll Bureau, alternatively you would be used to processing multiple payrolls each month.

· Experience of using Star Professional payroll software would be an advantage

· An understanding of how Pension Automatic Enrolment works would be advantageous

About you:

· You will need to be within easy commuting distance to Letchworth Garden City

· Excellent customer service skills
