Payroll Administrator

JOB TITLE: Payroll Administrator

REPORTS TO: Financial Controller

BASED AT: Eagle Tower, Cheltenham

SALARY: Neg. depending on experience

HOURS: 9.30am-3.30pm, two days per week.

Possibly increasing to 3 days per week.


Working in an exciting, dynamic and fast paced SME recruitment business, you will be primarily responsible for all aspects of our weekly payroll processes for both salaried and temporary staff, as well as assisting in other key finance administration tasks. You will report into the Financial Controller and join our small finance and back office team.

  • End to end payroll
  • Processing timesheets
  • Calculating overtime
  • Dealing with PAYE payments and deductions
  • Processing of Statutory sick, holiday, maternity and paternity
  • Providing payroll information
  • Pension auto enrolment
  • Submission of RTIs
  • Dealing with queries
  • Ensuring records are updated
  • Managing temporary staff
  • Experience with SAGE Payroll.
  • Previous experience of processing payroll for company with 50 plus employees
  • Confident written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
