6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Working for a dynamic and exciting company and primarily responsible for the administration and processing payrolls within the payroll team, to provide a first-class payroll bureau service.
* Responsible for the day to day administration of multiple payrolls within the media industry (weekly and monthly pay frequency).
* To process all types of manual payroll calculations.
* To use existing knowledge of PAYE/NIC, including K codes when running payrolls.
* To use existing knowledge of SMP, SPP, SAP and SSP when running payrolls.
* Use existing knowledge of pension scheme (salary sacrifice and defined contribution) when providing administration for various payrolls.
* To operate RTI procedures and statutory requirements
* To use own initiative to resolve issues, by providing a range of solutions and seeking advice where necessary.
* Develops and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels.
* Complete auto enrolment assessments for all payrolls
* Assisting Payroll Manager/Assistant Payroll Manager with ad hoc duties.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
* Good IT skills, intermediate level of Excel is essential.
* Minimum 2 years payroll experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
* Demonstrates up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation
* Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with clients and staff.
* Organises workload and demonstrates ability of prioritising own tasks.
* Demonstrates attention to details and a high concern for accuracy.
* Must have experience of working on various payrolls with multiple deadlines.
* Demonstrates ability to build and sustain deep relationships with clients and work colleagues.
Demonstrates good teamwork qualities and responds willingly to all team members reasonable requests.
