If you have previous payroll experience this may be the position for you. Based in Guildford this is a full time (38 hours per week) position, starting immediately, paying £12.50 to £13.50ph dependant on experience. This is a temporary position but there is a possibility of it going permanent.

This could be the perfect role for someone wishing to return to payroll after some time out of the sector or for someone just wishing for a new opportunity.

The Company
Providing the payroll function for small manufacturer and retail business. Based locally to Guildford established over 20 years ago

The Role
You will be working as a member of a small team dealing with all aspects of the payroll function. Mainly you will be responsible for setting up new payrolls, reporting and resolving queries and dealing with HMRC. Alongside this there will be general administration duties. Due to the smaller size of this business there will be times where you may be needed as first point of contact for incoming calls, therefore great communication skills are vital. Ideally you will have used Sage payroll before but training can be given.

Key Requirements
• Some payroll background
• Confident phone manner and communication skills
• HMRC, UK tax knowledge
• Excellent computer skills
• Immediately available
• Sage payroll experience would be beneficial but can be given training
