An established manufacturing company is looking to add to the accounts team. The role will cover payroll and ledger processing. They are happy to train on payroll if candidates are interested in moving into this area.
Payroll processing weekly and monthly:
- Maintaining time and attendance records
- Processing SSP and adhering to company sick pay policy
- Including varied allowances for factory staff to payroll
- Submitting payroll data for payment to bureau accurately and to strict deadlines
Other duties will include assisting with
- Sales ledger transaction processing
- Cash posting & credit control
- Petty cash
Candidates will have experience within a busy finance team, good Excel and word skills and attention to detail. Ideally having covered ledgers and payroll though training will be given.
