Patient Tracker - Emergency Department - Hinchingbrooke Hospital
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Emergency department as a Patient Tracker.
Working alongside a busy team of administrative and clinical staff this is a very valuable and rewarding role.
Essential skills for this role are fast accurate keyboard skills, excellent customer service experience and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
You must be able to multitask, remain calm under pressure, prioritise and troubleshoot within in a busy fast pace environment. Flexibility, reliability, adaptability and working well as part of a team are essential for the Patient Tracker role.
You will be required to provide a variety of administrative tasks all of which improve the patient journey through our department.
Our administrative team in the Emergency Department has a strong team of staff, all providing a variety of administrative roles including senior secretaries, administrators, team leaders, ward managers assistants and receptionists as well as the patient trackers.

One full time post of 37.5 hrs per week available or two part time posts of 18.75 hrs per week.
Shifts are: 10.00 - 22.00 hrs covering seven days a week (currently under revision)
