Job Title: Chef de Partie - PASTRY and a Commis Chef Pastry
Purpose: To act as Chef de Partie with a focus on the Pastry section, assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of planning, organising and communicating within all pastry requirements.
Responsible to: General Manager, F&B manager, Head chef, Sous Chef, Chez Roux
Responsible for: All duties relating to all services
Controlling all aspects of the pastry section, the Chef de Partie - Pastry must be a 'team player’, helping to motivate and develop the team with their correct example and creating a culture of passion and enthusiasm for the preparation and service. The Pastry Chef de Partie will cultivate an excellent working partnership with the restaurant management team.
They must assist in providing food that not only exceeds our guest expectations in flavor, substance and presentation, but is also in line with agreed company & legal standards. This is in addition to ensuring that the food stock levels of the business are well managed.
