A Pastry Chef role is available at an accredited hotel located in Cumbria.
The Head Chef of a hotel that operates a multi-AA Rosette accredited restaurant as well as being a popular venue for functions for both the corporate and leisure markets is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef. In this role of Pastry Chef you will be in charge of the pastry area in the kitchen that will operate with yourself and two other pastry chefs with all pastry items made in house. The position will allow you to design the dessert menus focusing on modern British dishes that use plenty of ingredients sourced locally to the hotel. You will also be responsible for producing high volume desserts for the banqueting department, afternoon teas and tray bakes for the bar menu.
This role needs an experienced Pastry Chef who has been working in AA Rosette accredited kitchens most recently where you have developed strong all round cooking skills. It is important that you are capable of organising a busy section in the kitchen whilst also leading the other chef and training them to work to your own high standards.
